This smoky stronghold, loved by BBQ enthusiasts, features a stylish bar & resto, a BBQ restaurant with an open kitchen, and a stunning rooftop. We mix American BBQ traditions with international BBQ influences and a touch of fine dining. Combined with our unique interior and fantastic team, this creates a true rock ’n roll BBQ experience.

FIERY PITMASTER – Chef de Partie
To strengthen our team, led by Chef Isabel Rodrigues, we’re looking for a FIERY PITMASTER – Chef de Partie. To help tame the blazing flames in our hell’s kitchen, where Yankee-style ‘low & slow’ BBQ dishes are prepared on wood-fired smokers, and ‘hot & fast’ grill classics are made on a unique Argentine parrilla grill.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Submit necessary orders for your section to the head chef

  • Prepare mise en place according to the checklist

  • Follow hygiene and safety standards as per HACCP guidelines

  • Check the quality and freshness of products

  • During service, you’ll work alongside the chef at the grill, preparing all meat dishes according to the BBQ craft

  • Know the kitchen equipment and report defects in a timely manner

  • Support colleagues during peak hours

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen

  • Follow the cleaning schedule perfectly at the end of each shift

If you have a passion for smoke and fire, you might be the one we’re looking for!
Our pitmasters stand side-by-side with the chef at the grill, so being heat-resistant is a must.
Black Smoke dishes are rooted in American BBQ traditions and enriched with a European flair. Experience in these traditions is a plus!
You can work independently and have either graduated as a chef or have equivalent experience of at least 2 years.

WORKING HOURS

Variable hours across a 5-day work week with a fixed day off on Mondays. The second day off is negotiable.
